Dr. Brooks leads the inquiry of soil erosion, specifically with respect to freeze and thaw cycles, and hydrology for the REACCH project.
Erin Brooks received his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University in 1993, a M.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1997, and his Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering under the supervision of Jan Boll at the University of Idaho in Moscow. Erin’s research interests include distributed hydrologic modeling, GIS, soil erosion mechanics, water quality monitoring, snow melt and soil freezing processes as related to watershed restoration and evaluation.
